In our recurring Member Spotlight, we sit down with the women whose work shapes our community. This month we spoke with a member whose career spans more than thirty years in Florida state government — and whose real pride is the dozens of younger women she has mentored along the way.

On finding your voice

"Early on, I thought leadership meant having every answer," she told us. "It doesn't. It means asking the right questions and making room for other people's answers."

On giving back

She credits CWN's mentorship circles with much of her own growth — and has since become one of the program's most requested mentors. "The network gave me a map when I needed one. Now I get to hand that map to someone else."
